Maggie Davis, MS, RD, LDN, FADA, CDE is the founder and director of Live Nutrition Inc in Brewster, MA. She has been in practice for 30 years on Cape Cod. Maggie has a passion for helping her patients and clients live healthier lives through better nutrition.  During your hour long consultation with Maggie, you will gain a better understanding of eating well and walk away with some tips for easy healthy meals as part of your daily routine.  You will also receive a copy of Maggie's book, "Good Food For Life."

Over a cup of tea or coffee, innkeeper Jill will share her own personal transformation tips and secrets for leading a balanced and well rounded life.  As the owner of the Captains House Inn, mother of two toddlers, and aspiring author, Jill has a lot on her plate and recently decided a good dose of life balance was paramount to living a life of joy while juggling all personal aspirations within her life.  Throughout her own personal transformation, Jill developed a toolbox of recipes, websites, apps, and books that she will share with you to arm you for your own personal transformation.

After innkeeper and owner James completed the Hyannis half marathon in February, 2011, co-owner Jill, and interns Jenni, and Jay were inspired to train for the Memorial Day weekend Great Hyannis Road race 7.2 miler while James attempts his next half marathon.  We invite guests to join us in our fitness goals and have designed a package specifically for runners who wish to participate in any of the three Cape Cod runs throughout the year.

We are offering runners who join James in running the Cape Cod trilogy of races and taking advantage of three runner's getaway packages in one year, a 20% discount per package.

There is a Three Night Minimum Requirement

December 30: A special 'high tea' will be served from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. To set the mood, begin with a glass of sherry, then indulge with delicate sandwiches, savory pastries, miniature trifles, tea cookies and melt-in-your-mouth cake.

December 31: Tea will not be served today, but an ice cream sundae bar will be available in the library lounge, and tea or coffee will be served on request.

From 5:00pm - 7:00pm the Innkeepers, Jill and James Meyer, invite you to join them for a glass of wine or champagne and our informal buffet supper. Drop in between visiting events in town and enjoy everything from hors d’oeuvres and light supper selections to delectable desserts. Chatham's First Night celebration ends at midnight with fireworks at Oyster Pond. Return to the inn for a mug of hot chocolate or cider before retiring to bed.

January 1: As always, coffee will be served to rooms from 7:15am to 9:00am, but breakfast service is extended from 8:30am - 11:00am, complete with Bloody Marys and mimosas. Relax by your fireplace, watch football, read a book or take a winter beach walk. Our fireside lunches are a great way to just relax and enjoy the day at the inn. Then join us for afternoon cream tea. What a great way to start the New Year!
