Nestled on the second floor of our 200-year-old cottage, the attic suite lives up to its name. The sitting room has a sofa bed love seat and two wing chairs that face a hand painted sea captain's chest hiding a TV/DVD. A small electric "wood stove fireplace" adds a touch of romantic ambience. The bedroom features an 'under the eaves" queen bed and Victorian furnishings. The full private bath also has a separate shower across the hall within the suite.

Air conditioning, bottled water, CD/alarm clock, phone with voicemail, iron & ironing board, personal robes, TV/DVD, umbrella, refrigerator, coffee maker, and a "Welcome Basket" of snacks and juice.

We do not recommend the Hideaway Suite for women who are pregnant or anyone who is elderly or has a bad knee, etc. since the stairs leading up to it are rather steep and some of the ceilings are low. Other than that, it is a charming, bright room and a favorite among those who appreciate the charm of an older home.
