Welcome to the Captain’s House Inn

Life may be filled with uncertainties right now, but do know when you’re ready to travel again, the Captains House Inn will be ready for you!  We’re busy planning how we’ll deliver the safest, most comfortable, and relaxing travel experience for your Cape Cod getaway. Getting away to Cape Cod’s fresh air – and the Captains House Inn upscale accommodations – will be a welcome respite during these challenging times. 

To ensure the health and safety of all of our upcoming guests and our employees, we have implemented some temporary changes to some of our procedures and policies. 

Updated cancellation policy
We have updated our cancellation policy to provide our guests with the most flexibility we can offer during these challenging times. We have suspended the 14-day notice requirement. If you find it necessary to cancel your reservation, you may do so up until 24 hours before your arrival and you will receive a refund of your deposit, less a $30 cancellation fee. Furthermore, if you would like to avoid the $30 cancellation fee, we would be pleased to issue you a gift certificate with the full amount of your deposit to be used for a future visit.
Check-in/check-out procedures
Guests will have the option of contactless check-in. We will contact you before your arrival to confirm your preference and provide you with instructions for contactless check-in. 
Once you have checked into your room, the staff will not enter your room unless specifically requested. This includes a daily housekeeping service. Guests in need of fresh towels, toiletries, or other amenities, can request these as needed for daily contactless delivery to your room. As clean and welcoming as our guest rooms already are, our housekeepers are taking extra steps to ensure all rooms are thoroughly disinfected and sanitized between stays and guests will be provided with hand sanitizer, gloves, and masks during their stay. Common areas will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the day, with particular attention to surfaces and high-touch items such as doorknobs, light switches, etc. Hand sanitizer will also be available throughout the common areas. 
Breakfast and dining 
We will continue to serve our guests individually prepared meals. The dining room has been reconfigured so that tables are appropriately distanced. Guests will also have the option to enjoy breakfast in their room, which we are happy to deliver. We will not be offering a breakfast buffet at this time; however, you can still personally request buffet items. Afternoon tea will be served upon request and it will not be a buffet style. As always, we are happy to assist you with dinner options and recommending local restaurants. 
We will continue to observe the guidelines provided by the state Governor and update our procedures as necessary.
