If you’re anything like me, a fantastic food and wine dinner is something around which vacations are planned. On September 22nd, Truro Vineyards, together with Blackfish Restaurant will be hosting a six course barrel room pairing dinner at 6pm. This is a farm to table dinner in which ingredients are locally sourced and paired with handcrafted wines aged and fermented in the candlelit barrel room where the event takes place. Tickets are $125 and must be purchased by September 8th either online or by calling 508-487-6200.
The dinner is in conjunction with CLASH week – (Cape Land And Sea Harvest) from September 20-26th during which local restaurants host “Eat Local Week” and feature special menus utilizing local ingredients. For foodies and wine connoisseurs, this is the week to eat your way through the Cape and take advantage of farm to table events like the Truro Vineyard barrel room dinner, farmers markets, and countless tours and tastings.
